Site visit considerations
Personas ?
Students, researchers, pedestrians,
transit-visitors & pets.
It would be nice to have ?
A transition space that collaborates people across different fields
Traces ?
Strong axes and bridge connectivity in the vicinity for other projects.

1. Identifying the existing road network as the axis & placemaking the plaza centrally for balanced planning.

4. Juxtaposing of built forms and green spaces alternatively to give an interesting journey to the transition space.

2. Providing greenery along the identified axis to accentuate and enhance the site from its surroundings.

5. Tweaking straight lines to direct the facades and overlook the central plaza and also enhance focus through the transition space.

3. Inducing collaboration through various activities & functions to make the project sticky & attract people from different fields.

6. Using enhanced perspective lines to accentuate direction of movement & introverted character for the plaza facing facades.

Masterplan
Focus : Students & internal comfort
- Housing need for high student immigrant population
- Favourable site location
- Doubly loaded corridor planning for proper ventilation & light
- Individual balconies
Building axonometry
Modules of typology
Architectural board
Sustainability board

1. Impermeable building plan that does not allow ventilation of either air or light to the corridor.

4. Evolution of façade from flat-folding to offer self shading during summers, views & ventilation all year round.

2. Permeable building plan that allows air, light & cross ventilation.

5. Double height punctures created due to stacking of floor plans used of cross ventilation and light penetration.

3. Permeable building plan with tweaked facades ro enhance air, light & cross ventilation.

6. Balcony areas for individual rooms that are also effective as horizontal projections for sun shading & buffer spaces.
